Pothier School. Opened in 1909 on Social Street. Named in honor of Aram J. Pothier while he was serving his first 
term as Governor. Pothier had also been a member of the Woonsocket School Committee and the Rhode Island 
State Board of Education. Building of Barrington cut brick has six rooms. Designed by Fontaine and Kinnicutt, built 
by John F. Fleurant.
