Horace Pierce house at 312 Blackstone Street. Built around 1840. A vernacular Greek Revival cottage. Incorrect in
architectural terms but a classic in the period. Pierce supported Thomas Dorr in the Dorr rebellion in 1842 and later
became Woonsocket's first Chief of Police.
